Established on Earth Day 2007 Etopia is Second Lifes premier Environmental Eco-Village and the perfect place to showcase your real world ideas for a sustainable future. We are home to a variety of educators, students, inventors, businesses, and other residents committed to living sustainably; balancing our needs with the needs of others and the rest of the environment.
From mountain cabins to beach front cottages we have it all. Enjoy sunrise walks, bike trails, cafe conversation with friends, music, and more through two beautifully landscaped and maintained sims. Etopia was designed to be an example of what sustainable living is about and an engaging community experience for those who call it home.
In addition to the fun of Second Life and the benefits of a community of like-minded residents, Etopia offers a robust platform for us to create and maintain virtual demonstration projects of real world environmental initiatives, create examples of green infrastructure, share information about renewable energy, and interact in an enjoyable and informative way.
