Wasn't sure what to expect ...

by Rain Rappaport, September 29th, 2012

Wasn't sure what to expect to find for the sim. But I love the bee tour, that takes you around the place. The bee has guided tours for a few different languages, which is awesome. I like that the sim is considered old in Second Life age. It's an older sim ...

When I arrived, the bumblebee ...

by Shangreloo Kuhn, April 04th, 2012

When I arrived, the bumblebee was available for an Arial tour of the island, just as it always has been. This time though, I decided to leave the bee for the next visitor and chose instead a direct teleport. I wanted to get there quickly to see if Svarga had changed at all.

Dawn was just breaking, and I stepped out from the temple into the early light. The moon was still visible in the early morning sky, and i stopped for a moment, catching my breath at the sheer beauty of the place. yes, it had changed a little.. at least this had.. but it was still breath-takingly beautiful. I met some other visitors, and we
chatted for a while, then we each went on our way to enjoy Svarga in our own way. Svarga
is like that, we all come, but each person experiences the space in a different way and for his or her own reasons and purposes.

I'm happy to say that not much had changed at all, and I spotted the palace off in the distance, high above the ground with the interesting complex of aerial bridges intersecting at the palace, and decided to visit.

In the uppermost tower of the palace I found a library of sorts, with books that are free for the taking. These are books that chronicle some of the significant events in the history of Second Life.

Svarga is a non-commercial sim. You won't find shops here, nor entertainment ou have to pay for. It exists on the donations of the people who visit and want to see places like this continue to exist in second Life. If you can afford to, donte a few Linden dollars to help keep Svarga running; if you can't afford to, simple spread the word about Svarga so that others can see the possibilities that virtual worlds like Second Life have to offer.

by Kerby Lusch, March 30th, 2012

Imagination might be considered one of the supreme currencies in Second Life, a world where if you can dream it, you can make it a reality… These fantasy realms brought to life are one of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon. Grab a friend and head to Svarga to rediscover ...
