Rock A Bye Babies Birthing Center
I teleported to Rock-a-Bye Baby initially to complete an offer and was amazed to see a member of staff, maybe the owner talking to customers in voice about the birth of their virtual baby. At this point the baby was still unborn I guess. This was so amazing because the team are not just one of these vendors that have products for sale and provide support only in an IM or via notecards. The staff are actually there in real time ready to deal with your queries. Staff members work as a close team and are available 6 days a week. The area is set out so that there are public areas and private medical consultation rooms and even a theater upstairs in the clinic should their customer require a C-Section.
The care and attention and passion for their products was interesting to see, how the staff takes you through the process step by step. The owners seem not only to have staff on hand but to have actual "Doctors" who will take your bundle of joy when it's time to give birth and make sure the product works as it should so you get your baby safe and sound as the end result. I spoke to Dr. Garret who was kind enough to give me an insight of what the customer (you - the expectant parent) will receive. The staff that are there are actually real medical professionals and they have seen the worst situations in real life so they can make sure that they and you have a nice experience in Second Life.
It will be exciting to monitor this business to see how these products compete with other business out there but with the care and attention to detail that the team has, my guess is that this business will only grow stronger.
