This is an international magazine to reach SL residents all over the world and tell them the recent business news, provide detailed reviews of SL businesses. The magazine is truly international: we will publish it in 5 languages at the beginning, adding more languages later.

History

MetaBizList (former SL Business Directory) was one of the first SL business listings, and it is definitely the largest Second Life business listing at the moment.

Besides the wide range of advertising services (Guaranteed Visitors and others), we maintain the free SL business directory, allowing business owners to list business for free (we have 2945 approved businesses listed today!). Keeping an up-to-date description of the business, uploading images and URLs allows owner to expose the company’s activity to a wide audience of residents.

Basically, it allows to get more members to the group and perform other group tasks. But, with the further development of the Notices service it turned out that a lot of customers use SmartBots to advertise.

With the Notices service it’s possible to setup the scheduled notices delivery to any group which provides the “Send notices” ability. There are a lot of such groups in Second Life!

This is not spamming (we fight spammers and disconnect them from the service rather quick) since the group owner  allows the notices as long as you obey the group rules.

The number of SmartBots customers  advertising using SmartBots bots is quicky growing. We plan to provide the additional tools, and already added the inventory attachments to scheduled notices.

Both existing and new orders can be adjusted to enable URLs. Login to your SLBiz account and edit Ad Fusion module to set URL.

SmartBots is a group management service we’ve created. It’s not purely advertising project, however, it allows you to promote your group to your customers and visitors. With a larger group you gain an ability to quickly inform people about your services and products.

What’s new at SLBiz2Life?

However, what’s new at SL Business Directory? We are not adding new services to this website to avoid overcrowded account dashboard, but all existing SLBiz services are up and running. There are minor improvements and updates we do every week.

We had to remove the “Visibility Booster” service since it does not affect SL search anymore (there were changes made by LL beyond our control). All other services still function, including our favorite one: Guaranteed Visitors.

If you are looking for advertisement, we suggest you to take a look and try the GroupCast service (http://www.gpc2life.com). Ability to reach thousands of SL residents can not be compared to anything else!

Visibility Booster

First of all, the new program has been launched, “Visibility Booster”. We did not write an announce it yet because program still experimental: we are changing and refining it. This program really woks and increases the business visibility!

Refined Dashboard

Another recent change is a refined account dashboard. We’ve got a lot of questions regarding obscure business card listing and SL Pano URL list. They are joined into the single dashboard panel now.

Custom 3D Views

And the last change is a possibility to upload your own 3D panoramas now. Our photographer will create one for you for L$2,999 – but you can use your own one if you have it.

P.S. Some people ask if the “Pick Booster” program still alive and running: yes, it’s running. Advertisers put orders, and this still a good way to promote business (even taking into account that picks do not affect SL Search anymore).

You can choose the visitor uniqueness while creating the order:

• 24 hours unique visitors (the previous behavior) or
• 100% unique visitors.

100% unique means that you never receive the same resident again.

Moreover, the  exhaustive statistics are now available: you can view the exact visit time along with resident SL name. This allows to control how your order is running, and provide better services for your visitors.
